Synopsis

Pokemon trainers return to an enhanced version of the Johto region in this recreation of the world-famous adventure series.

Originally released in 2001, Pokemon Gold and Silver were two of the most comprehensive Pokemon titles to date. HeartGold and SoulSilver are fully-enhanced versions of these releases, once more asking players to battle their way through Johto in the hopes of becoming the ultimate Pokemon trainer. Once thought defeated, the dastardly Team Rocket has reassembled in an attempt to stop players in their tracks. While slowly building their Pokemon collection, players will need to face off against other trainers to help strengthen their team.

New to SoulSilver is the Pokewalker: a small accessory that will train a chosen Pokemon by counting the amount of steps players make during the day. Players can also use the peripheral to catch wild Pokemon and discover rare items to transfer into the game. Using the Nintendo DS touch screen and stylus, players now have more control over their growing Pokemon collection, with access to a streamlined Pokedex on demand.
