Synopsis
One of literature’s most revered characters is given his own DS title in this portable detective adventure inspired by the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Sherlock Holmes’ adventures have been gracing books since the 1880s, his unique brand of considered reasoning making him a prime candidate for the more passive, mentally taxing adventure games slowly moving back into the limelight. Based on the popular PC edition, The Mystery of the Mummy has Holmes investigate the disappearance of a valuable Egyptian Mummy, slowly evolving into a case of robbery, violence and possibly murder.
Inspired by some of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s best works, The Mystery of the Mummy has players carefully explore the confines of a detailed mansion, searching for objects to collect and use during each puzzle. Much like classic ‘point-and-click’ PC adventures, players must carefully study each area to uncover its secrets. A built-in notebook allows players to keep a track of each clue they find.
Sherlock Holmes - The Mystery of the Mummy looks back to the classic era of adventure games, its atmosphere and style capturing the feel of any original Sherlock Holmes story.
