Synopsis
Sequel to Namco’s Family Trainer debut, Family Trainer - Extreme Challenge once again asks players to use their Wii Remote with the provided custom mat to experience a full-body gaming experience.
Atari’s activity series brings back the Family Trainer mat: an eight button peripheral that allows players to interact with the action on screen using their hands and feet alongside the Wii Remote. 15 activities appear in this sequel, each immersing players in a specific extreme sport, including rock climbing, base jumping, wakeboarding and BMX biking. With this focus on extreme sports comes a more intense and effective workout for each player.
The stylish cartoon visuals of the original make a welcome return, and players can now include their own Mii creations in each activity and see them take their place on screen. Multiplayer games let players compete against one another in a variety of events, and time trials allow players to complete their favourite activities against the clock.
Featuring more varied activities and the same fully-body workout experience, Family Trainer - Extreme Challenge offers players a robust digital workout that doubles as a fast-paced multiplayer experience.
