Synopsis
EA’s most authentic recreation of the nation’s favourite sport steps onto the pitch in FIFA 09 All-Play.
The Wii version of FIFA 09 takes a step away from other versions of the title, giving Wii owners an exclusive take on the popular football series. FIFA 09 All-Play contains two main modes - the first is a classic ‘11 versus 11’ football match typical to the franchise, and the second is an over-the-top arcade-style version of the nation’s sport, complete with Wii versions of each player on the pitch.
In All-Play, controls have been designed with both newcomers and veterans of the series in mind. New players can choose simple controls that work with the game’s AI to keep the game interesting and fast-paced. Those used to more complex controls are able to upgrade and play with standard controls, with refined gestures and an upgraded passing system that allows for more accuracy. The Miis that many Wii owners have painstakingly created in the Mii Channel can also be imported directly into FIFA 09 All-Play, allowing them to play alongside stars such as Ronaldinho and Wayne Rooney.
FIFA’s yearly football title improves on its predecessors with some unique new gameplay features and the return of many old favourites.
