The first expansion for the third in the Sims series, World Adventures expands The Sims formula across the globe.

With The Sims already a household name around the world, The Sims 3 expanded on the simulation’s formula by allowing Sims to leave the confines of their own home and explore their town. Building on this concept, The Sims 3 - World Adventures now lets Sims explore on a global scale, moving across the globe from France and Egypt to China. Each location is based closely on its real world counterpart, but is given its own colourful Sims twist.

Once the Sims have made the long journey to their destination of choice, players can explore the cities on offer, hunting for hidden treasure which can then be displayed back in the Sims’ home. The cultures of each land are all reflected, letting Sims explore hidden tombs, create drinks and learn martial arts. The inhabitants of each location will be on hand for Sims to interact with, offering adventures and storylines for players to follow.

The Sims 3 - World Adventures takes the Sims 3 town global, letting players interact with new cultures and create fresh Sims communities.
