Synopsis

The Rainbow team are back in Vegas to finish what they started in Tom Clancy’s tactical shooter title, Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

As new Rainbow Six team leader Bishop, players will have to work their way through casinos, back streets, hotels and apartments in the seedy underbelly of Vegas. This new title doesn’t disrupt the classic formula. It’s business as usual, with carefully considered progress through extravagant locales. Players who don’t want to get picked off early will need to plan their attacks and use the other members of the Rainbow squad to their advantage (who can throw flash grenades or enter a room on command).

Rainbow Six Vegas’ strong multiplayer component is also back, and now experience points earned in the single player campaign are transferred over to multiplayer matches, so building the ultimate anti-terrorist leader is a far smoother process. Many of the series’ classic maps have also been included and given a clean makeover.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 doesn’t toy with the well-oiled Tom Clancy formula, but makes some important changes that extend the life of the game dramatically. Those who enjoyed the last Vegas title will find the tactical gameplay intact.
