Synopsis
The Tiberium saga draws to a close in this instalment of EA’s renowned real-time strategy series.
Originally helping to popularise the real-time strategy genre in the mid-nineties, Command & Conquer’s Tiberium series is now one of the longest-running storylines seen in gaming. Tiberium Twilight sees this ongoing saga reach its conclusion, with the iconic character of Kane once more thrust into the spotlight. The live-action cinematics the series is known for also make their welcome return.
After 15 years of brutal conflict between three warring factions, work on the Tiberium Control Network is now reaching its end. Players must choose their faction and fight for control over an alien substance found buried deep below the Earth’s surface. Once players have chosen their side, all experience points earned destroying enemy units will be placed into one persistent player profile that can be used to unlock further units, powers and upgrades. Online, players can now partake in five versus five objective-based battles.
Command & Conquer 4 - Tiberium Twilight successfully concludes one of the most extensive game storylines of recent years, upgrading the series’ trademark real-time combat in the process.
