Metallica fans have something to shout about as the world’s biggest metal band are finally given their own Guitar Hero title.

Players follow Metallica as they take their heavy metal tour around the world, reliving their past success as they attempt 28 of their most popular songs. Players can also try their hands at 21 additional songs that inspired Metallica to become the band they are today as they compete for the grand prize of joining their heroes on stage.

The game includes many of the same features as Guitar Hero - World Tour, with the option to play either as a full band or completely solo. The Guitar Hero gameplay formula remains intact, asking players to follow the coloured notes on screen and gain the stars needed to progress during each performance. Using GHTunes players can share their songs and compete against one another online.

In addition to the usual difficulty levels, Guitar Hero - Metallica includes an Expert + level, which reflects the incredible talent and precision of Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich. Plug in a second drum pedal for this level, grab your friends and make Metallica proud.
