Synopsis

Harry returns to Hogwarts for another year of magic and wizardry in this action adventure title based on the summer fantasy blockbuster.

Now onto it sixth film adaptation, the Harry Potter films are growing darker and more rewarding with each new release, and the same can be said of their video game counterparts. Harry once again returns to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, its halls not as safe as they once were. Roaming the school as Harry, players can engage in wizard duals, combine magical ingredients in potion class and once again join the school’s Quidditch team. Favourites from the series are still there to lend a hand, including Ron and Hermione.

Avoiding a traditional level structure, The Half-Blood Prince allows players to explore Hogwarts as and when they choose, even taking on night-time missions while the rest of the school sleeps. Players can also explore the further reaches of the fantasy world in places such as The Burrow and The Horcrux cave. Working with Dumbledore, players will slowly unveil the secrets of the realm and uncover Voldemort’s past.

Now with a strong collection of Harry Potter titles under its belt, EA has produced one of the most rounded and complete adaptations of the stellar fantasy series yet seen on consoles.
