Rockstar turns its eye to the Wild West in this open-world action title that sees the era of the gun-slinging cowboy slowly draw to a close.

In 1900s America, the brutal Wild West is making a painful transition into modern society under the iron rule of the law. When federal agents threaten the safety of his family, retired outlaw John Marston is forced to bring the law of the land to the crumbling towns of frontier America. As John tours the open plains of the young country, players will come across tense gun fights in town streets, train robberies that can be foiled or protected and optional bounty hunting jobs.

Coming from the makers of the Grand Theft Auto series, Red Dead Redemption has the pedigree of some of the most accomplished and beloved open world titles ever made. The world that players explore is the largest yet seen in a Rockstar title, providing huge open plains and detailed, bustling cities in equal measure.
