Synopsis

EA’s third-person shooter arrives on Sony’s PSP, seeing Salem and Rios reunite to fight through the crumbling city districts of Shanghai.

Built from the ground up for Sony’s PSP, Army of Two’s sequel provides a more polished and immersive gameplay experience that puts players in charge of both Salem and Rios as they rely on fast-paced combat tactics to survive. When a series of mystifying disasters strike at the heart of China, the soldiers of fortune are drafted in to fight their way through Shanghai and expose those responsible.

On Sony’s PSP, gameplay takes place from a top-down perspective, providing players with a more tactical view of the battlefield, with the same locations and storyline on offer as its console counterparts. Weaponry, moves and cover can all be gradually upgraded during each mission as players work to survive Shanghai’s ongoing destruction, with Army of Two’s Agro power system still in place.

Army of Two - The 40th Day’s focus on strategic gameplay results in a more compact and tactical handheld experience on PSP, with the same storyline and locations as console versions firmly in place.
