EA’s most authentic recreation of the nation’s favourite sport steps onto the pitch in FIFA 09.

Players can enjoy the years of upgrade and new features that have been put into each rendition of the FIFA series, many of them new to this edition. A new collision detection system gives the player hundreds of new collision animations, and each will be different, determined by speed, player strength and other attributes. Newly tweaked skills moves have been created, including scoop turns, rainbow flicks heel-to-heel knocks and ball rolls, bringing the total number of a player’s on-the-ball tricks to 32.

Be a Pro mode returns once more, now expanded with multiple seasons and the Be a Pro camera that tracks a chosen player on the pitch. Be a Pro - Seasons lets players either choose a professional player or create their own, slowly developing their skills on the pitch. Smart Play controls mean that football fans new to FIFA will be able to pick up moves quickly using a simple 2 button control system when they first start to play.

FIFA’s yearly football title improves on its predecessors with some unique new gameplay features and the return of many old favourites.
